Are You Listening?
Have you ever felt that when you talk no one listens? I feel like that's the second true reason why I started this blog. every time I talk I see that you attention is elsewhere. I understand people listen in different ways and I'm not trying to sound like an attention whore but I would just lie some acknowledgment. Show me that you're listening, make me feel as if my words are important and mean something to you. The fact that sometimes the question comes up: Are you listening? Is frustrating and at times and makes me lose the want to speak. I've noticed as I've grown older that I had become a lot quieter and when people say: Tell me about yourself... I find that I have nothing to say. I am that individual who is mostly quiet when serious discussions are in play, having this feeling of doubt in my voice, like my thoughts are not strong enough of worth listening to. I don't know, I think I overstated my point and now rambling but the real question is: Are You Listening?

I am most definitely listening. Although your blogs may be short I feel that thats your own way of expressing yourself. Getting your point across doesn't mean that you have to write a lifetime story & your blogs are interesting and capture my attention. Trust me I am now one of those friends that supports just to support. I support because I care & because I am interested. I am GLAD THAT THIS BLOGGING BUSINESS IS HELPING YOU BECAUSE ALTHOUGH I WAS SLACKING FOR SOME TIME I PICKED UP THE PACE & I AM REALLY INTO IT NOW AND I CAN TELL THAT YOU ARE. Just remember that even when you think someone isn't listening I AM. Also I completely get you when you say that you speak and it feels like no one is listening I feel like that sometimes myself. And I feel that you need to have more faith in your words and the power that you hold. Theirs nothing wrong with speaking your mind its all about the way you present yourself & I know that you know how to act accordingly to the mood because if not you wouldn't be in college and you wouldn't have a summer job taking care of your business. So DO YOU BOO.
At the very least, you have me. I listen when you talk. And don't doubt what you say. It is worth listening to.
Sometimes its hard to comprehend, but sometimes when people say even a couple of words, they hit home and genuinely affect people around them. So speak your mind.
I think that people underestimate the power of words, good or bad. Actions get a point across, but words have an extremely strong affect as well.
