Courthouse
I have noticed that everything in this world contradicts itself. We have fredom of choice but yet the choices we make are still not accepted world wide. it's great to the fact that each individual has their own opinion to what they like and dislike but it comes to a point where you ask: WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ACCEPT ME FOR ME? I mean it is not only in situations of jobs that your choice is discriminated but in relationships with those of the opposite sex and even your own parents. You think that the people who gave you life would respect the choices that you make, them knowing that they raised you the right way, but I guess not. The point as I ssee it is that the only one who should judge my choices is myself. I am my own judge and jury, I will give my own sentencing no one else...

You damn skippy girl and you better SPEAK IT. I completely understand where you are coming from. I do feel that a lot of parents don't have the confidence in themselves to know that they did a good job raising their child or children and they need to have more confidence in knowing that they did the best they could. I also feel that certain choices are out of a parents control. They have to come to terms with the fact that we are adults whether they like it or not and that they do have to respect the decisions we make whether we are living under their roof or not. They have to be willing to let us grow and make our own decisions and our own mistakes because no matter what no one is perfect. I also feel that sometimes parents forget that they were once young and did a lot of crazy stuff and they also wanted for their parents to respect them. Maybe you should remind your parents of when they were young and growing up & although I know things are different now things are always going to be different what 1 generation had the other generation didn't and the list goes on & on & on. But in the end you will make your own choices and whether they turn out good or bad you will continue learning and living so try not to even let it get to you although I do know that it is very difficult.
